Fortis Classic Christian Academy

Fortis’ classical model of education focuses on the holistic formation of students – the shaping of their hearts, minds, and souls – to prepare them not only for college but for life. This classical approach seeks to equip students with the tools of learning that are appropriate to their stages of development. Our youngest students learn the building blocks of knowledge and foundational facts at the Grammar Stage. As students enter adolescence – the Logic Stage – our model focuses on teaching them to think critically, understand connections, and reason well. At the Rhetoric Stage, our high school students practice the art of expression, focusing on communicating with elegance and persuasion while engaging a robust curriculum in the liberal arts and sciences.

At Fortis, the classroom experience includes Great Books, Socratic discussions, and the integration of subjects.  From the humanities to advanced math and science courses, our distinguished teachers seek to guide students in the joy of discovering the truth for themselves and in learning how to think. ​
